Sedalia man cuts his wrists Tuesday morning

According to a Sedalia Police report officers were sent to a medical situation Tuesday morning in the1100 block of East 7th. Upon arrival a man had reportedly cut his wrists. The police report states the man also said he had drank some alcohol, and took 4 Naproxan pills. The man was taken to the Bothwell regional Health Center for voluntary committal.

Suspect sought in an attempted burglary this (Wednesday) morning

At 2:40 this (Wednesday) morning Sedalia Police investigated an attempted burglary at a residence in the 1100 block of East 6th. Upon arrival the victim told officers someone attempted to break into his house, but ran when he was discovered. There was no information on the suspect in the police report.

Thieves steal gates and wiring from a garage in the 1900 block of South Osage

Just after 2pm Monday afternoon the owner of a house in the 1900 block of South Osage reported thefts to the Sedalia Police. According to the victim a thief or thieves stole 3 chain link fence gates, and the wiring from the garage of a house he owns. There were no suspects at news time.

Paint Sprayers stolen from a house in the 1400 block of West Broadway

Around 1:35pm Monday afternoon a female victim in the 1400 block of West Broadway reported two paint sprayers, and paint tips were stolen from a house she is remodeling. Value of the stolen items was placed at over $400. There are no suspects at news time.

Skateboarder damages a flowerpot on West Main

At 2:13 Tuesday afternoon a victim in the 100 block of West Main reported a skateboarder was skateboarding, and broke a $75 flower pot.
