Glagow man arrested during a disturbance investigation Tuesday morning

Around 5:13 Tuesday morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of South Osage on an assault investigation. Upon arrival officers stopped a vehicle leaving the area with suspects inside. Th4e police report states the assault was verbal, and the participants did not wish to pursue charges. A check on the subjects however found that a passenger in the vehicle identified as 24-year-old Samuel Ryan Watson of Glasgow was found to have an active Morgan County warrant for littering. Watson was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending a $150 bond.

Intoxicated man was reportedly sprayed with mace Tuesday morning

At 10:37 Tuesday morning Sedalia Police responded to the Liquor Locker at 513 West Main on an intoxicated subject. Upon contact with the man who was not named in the p[olice report, the officers found he had been sprayed with mace by an unknown person. The man was treated at the scene by Pettis County EMS, and transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for evaluation, then he was released to a family member.

Woman reports being harassed at her home in the Sedalia Housing Authority

The Sedalia Police reported a female victim, a resident in the Sedalia Housing Authority reported she has been harassed since she moved in there. The woman told the officers the suspect has not been stopped when he has harassed other people in the area. The police report states the suspect had not been contacted at the time of the report.

Thefts and property damage investigated at Southwest Storage on Greenridge Road

On Tuesday Sedalia Police were investigating a property damage complaint at Southwest Storage at 3505 Greenridge Road. A female victim reported a $75 lock was broken on her storage unit sometime overnight. During the investigation the police learned of thefts that had taken place at a different storage unit at Southwest Storage. The victim of those thefts told the officer, that someone had taken 5-Shotguns, a Crossbow, a Bow, and some fly wheels. The police report states video surveillance tape is being reviewed in the case.

Pistol reported stolen from a home on Sedalia’s east side

According to a Sedalia police report a victim in the 600 block of east 10th reported a semi-automatic pistol was stolen from his residence sometime over the past two-weeks. The victim told officers he believes he knows the thief’s identity. The theft is still under investigation according to the report.

Local Business reports a case of shoplifting to the police

Plaza 16 located at 120 East 16th reported a suspect had been observed filling his pockets with food items, and then leaving the store without paying for the items. The police report states there is video evidence in the case.

Hit and Run Accidents reported to the Sedalia Police

A hit and run accident was reported in the 300 block of west 24th Monday afternoon. There was no mention of witnesses or suspects in that case.

Sometime between the hours 4:30 and 5:30 Tuesday afternoon according to a male victim. His vehicle was struck by a hit and run driver behind PAPA Johns located at 2915 West Broadway. There were no suspects at news time.

2004 Pontiac shot with BBs or Pellets Tuesday morning

A victim in the 900 block of East Broadway reported a window was shattered on their vehicle by either a BB or pellet gun. The door was also chipped according to the police report. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.

A Black Mongoose Bike with White Lettering spelling out “Mongoose” was stolen from a yard  in the 700 block of East 9th sometime before 10am Tuesday morning.
