Sedalia Police assist Cooper County Sheriff’s Department on a theft arrest Tuesday
At 9:24 Tuesday morning Sedalia Police assisted the Cooper County Sheriff’s Department in a theft investigation. According to the Police report the officers made contact with the suspect identified as 21-year-old Joshua R. Phillips of Sedalia, and he admitted he had endorsed and cashed two checks for about $900. At the time of the police report Phillips was on 24-hour hold in the Pettis County jail pending charges of forgery, and receiving stolen property.
27-year-old Sedalia man arrested for failure to appear warrants
Around 7:40 this (Wednesday) morning Sedalia Police arrested 27-year-old Wesley Adam Franken of Sedalia on Pettis County and Benton County warrants for failure to appear. Franken was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail pending a $2000 bond.
Bag of belongings found at Broadway and Park
According to a Sedalia Police report a bag of belongings were found in the area of Broadway and park. The bag contained books, black and blue Yoga Pants, a Denim quilt, and a red and green child’s jacket. The items were placed in found property at the police station.
