At 10:47 Tuesday night Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 4200 block of South Limit following an anonymous tip on an attempted vehicle theft in the area of 40-Winks. Upon arrival officers located the suspect who reportedly had a key, but was unable to figure out the interlock system. Arrested at the scene was 25-year-old Bryant Alexander Creely a homeless person. At the time of the police report Creely was on 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail pending a charge of 1st degree tampering with a motor vehicle.

Traffic stop Tuesday night results in arrest for a Sedalia suspect

Around 11:20 Tuesday night Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at 2nd and Lamine for displaying plates for another vehicle. Upon contact with the driver 23-year-old Cory Jade Pope of Sedalia he was found to have an open container of beer. Pope was issued a Sedalia Municipal Summons, and a court date.
