Afternoon Sedalia Police Crime Reports For Wednesday May 13, 2015
Warrant requested on a hospital patient who kicked a nurse
At 6:31 Tuesday Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Bothwell Regional Health Center on a patient who was reportedly kicking and fighting nurses. Upon arrival the patient had been restrained, but not before injuring a nurse’s forearm by kicking them several times. The police report states a warrant application has been submitted in the incident.
Gun stolen in the area of 12th and Center a month ago
Tuesday morning Sedalia Police took a theft complaint from a Sedalia man in the area of 12th and Center. According to the victim a suspect known to him took the gun from his vehicle a month ago. The suspect had not been contacted at the time of the police report.
3-tires flattened on a victim’s vehicle on Sedalia’s east side
According to a victim in the 900 block of East 13th three of the tires on his vehicle were flattened, while the vehicle was parked across the street from his house around 6:30 in the morning. The victim placed the damage at $300. There was no information on a suspect in the police report.
Thieves break a vehicle’s window to steal a purse Tuesday afternoon
Just before 4pm Tuesday afternoon a victim in the 3100 block of West Broadway reported someone had broken out a window of her vehicle, and stole her purse. The purse contained 3-wallets, $130 cash, and various debit and credit cards. The woman’s Social Security Card was also in the purse according to the victim.
Futon a woman just bought is stolen Tuesday afternoon
At 3:35 Tuesday afternoon a woman in the 2100 block of East Broadway reported a theft from her garage. The victim told Sedalia Police Officers she bought a black futon with a blue mattress, and placed in in her garage Tuesday afternoon. The woman said she had left for a short period of time, and when she returned the Futon was gone. Value of the Futon was placed at $100. There were no suspects.
4x8 Trailer reported stolen Tuesday morning on East 11th
A Sedalia police Report states a 4x8 two-wheel trailer was reported stolen at 7:38 Tuesday morning. The theft took place in the 600 block of East 11th according to the police report. There was no value listed in the police report, and no suspect information was offered.
Caseys at 3050 South Limit reported a $5 gas drive off Monday afternoon.
