Sedalia man arrested at Walmart for stealing Saturday night

Around 9:45 Saturday night Sedalia police were dispatched to the Walmart Store for a shoplifting report. According to the police report upon arrival officers found that the store’s asset protection personnel had an adult male and two juveniles detained. An investigation revealed that all three of the subjects were in possession of stolen merchandise. The police report states 20-year-old James Daniel Yount of Sedalia was issued a summons and a court date. There was no further information on the juveniles involved.
