Alene Rebecca “Becky” Reyburn, 90

Alene Rebecca "Becky" Reyburn, 90, of Sedalia, died Sunday, August 12, 2012, at Lincoln Community Nursing Home.

She was born March 1, 1922, in Clark, MO, daughter of Samuel and Ida Mae Gentry Truesdell. On October 11, 1947, in Moberly, she married Richard O. "Dick" Reyburn, who died January 22, 2009.

Mrs. Reyburn worked as a surgical nurse at Woodland Hospital in Moberly. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, fishing and collecting costume jewelry.

Surviving are a son, Clint Reyburn, and his wife, Mary Ann, of Sedalia; a daughter, Beth Meyer, and her husband, Don, of Sedalia; four grandchildren, Alan Meyer, Kevin Meyer and his wife, Megan, Jennifer Reyburn and Melissa Reyburn; and a great-granddaughter, Daija Reyburn.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Gentry Spurling, Wilfred Truesdell and Simeon Truesdell.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Marlin Brown officiating.

Casket bearers will be Sam Truesdell, John Truesdell, Howard Truesdell, Alan Meyer, Kevin Meyer, Jennifer Reyburn and Melissa Reyburn.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Heckart Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Lincoln Community Nursing Home.
