Alma H. Lewis, 93

Obituary for Alma Lewis Alma H. Lewis age 93 of Sedalia died on Friday, November 16, 2012 at her daughters home. She was born on December 25, 1918 in Beggs, Oklahoma daughter of Fred and Ellen Edmonds Chambers. She was married to R.G. Kilgore in 1932 in Hot Springs, Arkansas and he preceded her in death. She was then married to Garland Lewis in 1948 in Stanford, Texas and he also preceded her. Alma was raised and educated in Morris, Oklahoma. She moved to Sedalia in 2005 and lived with her daughter the past five years. She was a member of the Bethel Assembly Of God Church. She enjoyed attending to her flowers. She loved her church and spending time with her family. She is survived by one daughter: Darlene Stevenson of Sedalia, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Patricia Ann Burns, two sons: Charles Kilgore and Carl Kilgore, one brother: Van Chambers. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Gray officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time. Serving as pallbearers will be friends. Burial will be in Green Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Bethel Assembly Of God Church Missions in care of the funeral
