Alta B. Danielson, 94

Alta B.Danielson age 94 of Sedalia passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the home of her caregiver.

She was born on May 21, 1920 in Breckenridge, Minnesota daughter of Frank and Clara Schader Meyer. She was married in 1939 to Riley E. Self and he preceded her in death in 1957. She then married Clifford J. Danielson in 1963 and he preceded her also in 1988.

She worked as a nurses aide at Bothwell Regional Health Center for a number of years. She attended Bethel Assembly Of God Church in Sedalia. Alta enjoyed being outdoors, taking care of her flowers,gardening and quilting. Alta loved listening and later watching the St. Louis Cardinal's Baseball.

Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy. Her selfless acts of giving will be remembered forever and reap its rewards in heaven. She is survived by two daughters; Patricia Adair of Rolla, Mary Schuh of Edmunds, Washington, two sons Riley Self (Sandra) of Windsor and Floyd Self (Peggy) of Houstonia, thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren. She was preceded also by three sisters.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until 9:45 A.M. Friday, May 30, 2014 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 10:00 A.M. at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Sam Adair officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Adair, Sr., Ronnie Adair, Jr., Dan Self, Matthew Self and Marcus Self. Memorials may be given to Bothwell Regional Health Center. You may leave condolences online at ewingschuttesemlerfh.com
