Amos Lee Pogue, 79, of Stover, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, surrounded by his loved ones in the comfort of his home.  He was born on May 21, 1936, at Eminence, a son of Thomas M. and Emma L. (Mooney) Pogue.

On March 17, 1970, he was united in marriage to Jean Seip, who survives of the home.

He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Besides his wife, he is survived by:
his children, Calvin of Texas, Randy of Lesterville, James of Lesterville, Lela of Ironton, Galen of Arnold, James and Susan of Omaha, Nebraska, Rose of Jefferson City, Lee and Carla of Jefferson City, and Paul and Cindy of Stover;
his four sisters, Bessie, Mary Dale, Lucille, and Alta;
his one brother, Cecil Pogue; and
several grandchildren and  great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Emma Pogue, sons, Thomas C. Pogue and Thomas W. Peters, sister, Beulah M. Pogue, and brothers, Virgil W. Pogue, Jacob M. Pogue, and Benjamin C. Pogue.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp, with Pastor Danny Owsley officiating.  Burial will be in Olean Cemetery, Olean.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.

Pallbearers will be Jim Peters, Lee Pogue, Paul Pogue, Darrel Swaford, Anthony Blacksten, and Mark Cavin.
