Another One Checked Off the Bucket List

Yesterday (July 17), I went to visit my friends in the Athletic Department at the University of Central Missouri (UCM) for a meeting.  After the meeting, I was walking on cloud nine!  I was chosen as the new Public Address announcer for UCM Football and Men's and Women's Basketball this year.   This position has been held by Marion (Woody) Woods for 28 years for basketball and 30 years for football, and needless to say, they will be big shoes to fill!!!  I'm looking forward to the opportunity and hope to see you at the home opener at Walton Stadium/Vernon Kennedy Field in Warrensburg on Saturday, September 11, 2014. Should be fun, especially with the new expansion and construction around the stadium. ! Go Mules!!!
