Archaeological Society Presents Native American Artifact Day at Convention Hall [INTERVIEW]

The Native American Artifact Show will be held on June 28.  This is a great way to see some wonderful artifacts from around in our area, showcasing Pettis County's rich native history. 

It’ll be held at the Sedalia Liberty Park, 1500 West 3rd street  from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The show is sponsored by the Sedalia/West Central Missouri Archaeological Society and displays authentic artifacts and historical items. The public is invited to bring their personal artifacts for free identification. This is a wonderful way to get the whole family out and looking at some of the handed down items that you may have had over the years that used to belong to Grandpa or Grandma. And, you get to find out all about how they were made, how old they are, what they were used for, and more.  There will be door prizes, and parking is available in the back and west side of the building. I got to talk with Tom Hartline with the SWCMA about the event, and its new location, the Convention Hall at Liberty Park.
