The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 55-year old Debra G. Crutchfield, of Sedalia, suffered minor injuries July 27 when her Dodge Ram traveled off the road, struck a field entrance and became airborne. The Dodge then returned to the roadway eventually coming to rest in the median. The accident occurred on Highway 65 north of Claycomb Road in Pettis County. Crutchfield reportedly declined medical treatment at the scene.


50-year old Steven A Boyd, of Warrensburg, suffered minor injuries Monday afternoon (July 30), in a two-vehicle wreck in Jackson County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck on MO-131 just north of SW 125th Road. The crash reportedly occurred as Boyd's 2004 Sterling was stopped in traffic attempting to make a left turn. The Sterling was struck in the rear by a 2016 Western Star, driven by 59-year Scott D. Cockrum, of Knob Noster. Boyd declined medical treatment while Cockrum was reportedly uninjured.
