The Northeast Missouri Narcotics Task Force has announced five arrests following an investigation in Monroe City, Missouri that reportedly turned up methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a firearm.

Authorities say that a search warrant was served on Tuesday afternoon after a two-month investigation. Police say that methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a firearm and items used to package drugs for sale, were found and seized as evidence. Four individuals living at the residence, and another individual who was also present during the execution of the search warrant, were all arrested. Two individuals resisted arrest and attempted to destroy evidence.

Seth Bourque, Alyssa Mayer, Ciara Ronimous, Johnathan Downs, and Nathan Bryant were all arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bourque was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance With the Intent to Distribute.

Authorities say additional charges may be pending. The suspects were incarcerated at the Monroe County, Randolph County and Marion County Jails.
