Most of us know at least one person who is graduating next month. With all of the students working hard and studying, its time for you to take a quiz. We want to test your knowledge about local graduations, ceremonies and how it all got started. So before you put on your cap and gown on, here is one last test before graduation.
Registration for the Go Big of Go Home 5K race in remembrance of Blaine Whitworth begins at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, at 115 N. Holden St. in Warrensburg.
The race welcomes serious runners, beginners, joggers and walkers to the family fun race. All proceeds will go to the Blaine Whitworth Go Big or Go Home fund. The fund was set up in Whitworth's name after he died in a shooting last fall.
The local Mid Missouri favorite Nace Brothers band will play from 8:30 p.m. to midnight this Saturday, March 30 at the Warrensburg Elks Lodge, 822 E Young St. Tickes will cost $9 per person or $16 per couple.
