WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. – An Airman assigned to Whiteman Air Force Base was involved in a shooting incident Saturday, May 9, 2015.

The incident occurred in Warrensburg.

The Airman was taken to a  Kansas City hospital
