April 11, 2013 The Mid-Missouri Outlaws are ready to take on the Oklahoma Defenders in Tulsa this Sunday. The game has been moved up to 2:05 p.m. The Outlaws are looking for their first win in the CPIFL, as they lost last week to the Kansas Koyotes by a score of 49-18. The Defenders are 1-3 this season, with there only victory coming over the Kansas Koyotes with a score of 62-40.

April 9, 2013 The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for our area from midnight through Thursday evening. Several rounds of thunderstorms are expected over the region tonight and Wednesday. These storms may repeatedly impact the same areas with total two inches of rain expected across the region
April 9, 2013 The Major League Baseball Season is in full swing, as teams now have had a full week of games. I am looking forward to seeing a game at Kauffman Stadium and Busch Stadium this season. Last week, I told you about the top five stadiums I would like to go watch a game at, and now the ball is in your hands. Tell me your top five stadium picks.
April 9, 2013 I know many of you are animal lovers and treat your dog or cat as a member of the family. I know I'm very pet friendly and can't remember a very long period of time without one. This morning, I read this story of a woman who had died as a result of cancer at the age of 68. She requested that her guide dog be buried with her. I'm thinking that sounds like a good request that when a person dies, they would like whenever their dog or cat dies to be buried with the owner. However, that is not what was requested. She had her guide dog euthanized and buried with her for her funeral.
