A traffic stop in the area of West 7th and South Harrison by Sedalia Police on Wednesday, Feb. 26 resulted in the arrest of 31-year-old Vincent S. Barriere Jr., who now faces charges of first degree drug trafficking, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute after a traffic stop on Wednesday, Feb. 26.

One of our good friends over the years and familiar face at the Missouri State Fair has passed on. Thom Fuller has passed away at the age of 50.  You may know Thom best as the host of the Missouri State Fair Idol from it's inception until 2012. He also hosted the Extravaganza Events in the Touchstone Energy Stage and many other shows at the fair.

Sedalia STING Unit Arrests 3 Suspects After Uncovering Drugs on South Merriam Avenue

The Sedalia STING Unit and Sedalia Police arrested 46-year-old Douglas Burlingame, 24-year-old Laura Martin and 29-year-old Paul Lucito after serving a search warrant at a home at 1025 South Merriam Ave. on Friday (Feb. 21) at 5:22 a.m. A search of the home found methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia.
