Victor Lee Jackson, 74, of Sedalia, passed away, Saturday, April 28, 2013 at his daughter’s home. He was born on June 3, 1938, in Fayette, Mo., a son of Romie Silas and Grace Belle (Sims) Jackson.
Lula Anna Margaret Case, of Cole Camp, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Good Samaritan Care Center, Cole Camp. She had reached the age of 99 years, 8 months, and 19 days.
The Sedalia City Council met in the council chambers of City Hall for a work session Monday night (April 29). There were three items on the agenda, but the one that drew the capacity crowd to the chamber was the proposal that would make Sedalia a smoke-free city.
Dennis Michael "Mike" Ross, 63, of rural Lincoln, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at his home after his battle with small cell lung cancer. He was born on June 19, 1949, in Kansas City, Missouri, a son of Kenneth L. and Constance A. (Slavens) Ross.
