Micah Chrisman

M. J. Chrisman graduated from Covenant Bible College and Seminary with a bachelor of science in theology. He began writing his debut novel The Legend of the Seer in 2003 when he was only fourteen years old. Having completed his first book in the series, Mr. Chrisman is currently working on his second book, The Remnant: The Fall and Rise of the Three Nails. Dublin Social Club in downtown Warrensburg will perform a 24-hour tattoo marathon beginning on  Friday night (Sept. 20). The marathon will commence at the stroke of midnight and will entail $20 tattoos for walk-ins, door prizes every hour, zombie-themed grab bags and a scavenger hunt.

University of Central Missouri Kicks Off Football Season with “Get the Red Out” Event [PHOTOS]

The University of Central Missouri (UCM) hosted their annual event "Get the Red Out" yesterday (Sept. 5) from 4-6 p.m. on Holden St. in Warrensburg in celebration of UCM's first football game of the year. Dozens of student-led associations, fraternities, sororities and local businesses came out to not only raise awareness about their organizations but to support the UCM Mules as they faced the Missouri Western Griffons.

Church of the Bottle in Warrensburg Invites Believers and Skeptics Out for a Drink

A jaded atheist and a conservative Christian walk into a bar….

This might sound like the beginning of a bad joke, but this really happens. Church of the Bottle welcomes atheists, agnostics, pantheists and everyone in between to join them on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. for a beverage. They meet at “The Bay," a bar on Pine Street in Warrensburg, Mo. to discuss various topics that range from religion to politics.
