The Smith-Cotton Marching Tigers have been selected as the only band from the state of Missouri to appear at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tn. on New Year’s Day. It’s a great trip for these band members, but it’s expensive.  Of the $30,000+ needed, T.I.M.P.O. (Tiger Instrumental Music Promoters Organization) had managed to raise all but about $8,000. Lamonte Hazmat Team Investigates Unknown Substance that Injured Two Officers at Casey’s General Store

The Pettis County Hazmat Team and Lamonte Volunteer Fire Department were summoned to the parking lot of the Casey’s General Store in Lamonte on the evening of Sunday, July 1, where and the area was cordoned off pending investigation of an the unknown chemical that injured two Lamonte police officers.
