45 Dogs Rescued from Unlicensed Breeding Facility in Johnson County
A search warrant served this morning (Oct. 30) at a Johnson County residence resulted in the rescue of 45 dogs from an unlicensed breeding facility. The Missouri Department of Agriculture, the Humane Society of Missouri Animal Cruelty Task Force and the Johnson County Sheriff's Department took custody of the Chihuahua, Chihuahua-mix dogs, Shih Tzus and a rabbit from the residence of Aaron Bishop

Missouri Wide Receiver Arrested on Drug Charges
University of Missouri wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham has been suspended from Mizzou's football program following his arrest on Wednesday night (October 4). The freshman and former No. 1 draft pick in the nation was taken into custody by the MU Police Department with two other Mizzou football players on on charges of possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana.
Unidentified Body Found at Truman Lake in Warsaw
UPDATE: Police have identified the body and an investigation is under way.

Benton County authorities are asking for assistance in identifying a female body found by a boater at Truman Lake on Sunday. After an autopsy, authorities classified the death as suspicious and said that the body had been weighted down.
