Bacon Production To End At Kirksville Plant

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. (AP) — Kraft Foods/Oscar Mayer says it plans to end bacon production at its Kirksville plant, eliminating 275 jobs. The company informed employees yesterday that the changes will be complete by the end of next year. Company officials say ham production will continue at the Kirksville plant.
