Barn Dance Scheduled in Pettis County Friday

On Friday, the Hayden Liberty Center will host an old-fashioned honky tonk party in Ron Ditzfeld’s barn, 27264 Prairie Road.

Happy hour begins at 6 p.m. (dance lessons with Gena Swearingen will be available for those interested); dinner by Don Weaver and Don Luper is served at 7 p.m. and at 8 p.m., Tobacco Row fires up the music. There will be fun “games of chance” between musical sets.

To get to Prairie Road from Highway 65, take 16th Street West (3.8 miles), Turn left on Prairie Road (1.3 miles). Watch for the balloons.
