It’s hot outside, and Huntin’ and Fishin with Harry is all about the outdoors.  Be careful with that high heat index, and make sure you stay hydrated.  That means WATER.  Same goes for your pets, they can’t tell when they’re to hot, so take care of them.

There are no archery shoots anywhere in the area this weekend.  However, “Double Trouble” showed up at the Montrose Archery competition last weekend with the rest of the Sedalia bunch.  JR Kenyon took first place, as did his son Kole.  It was a father-son 1-2 punch, and it was awesome.

A very special community event is being held this weekend: Fish With a Veteran.  From 12 – 3 p.m. at Liberty Park on Saturday, June 30, you can have a great time fishing with some of the veterans from the American Legion post.  Of course, you can bring your own veterans as well.  They are the reason we can fish, hunt and live free.

Now for the hot summer night: KIX will be at the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks,” Lucas Oil Speedway, for KIX 105 Night At the Races this Saturday night (June 30).  Come check out the brand new Huntin’ and Fishin Truck.  Bring the kids to play the archery game we’ll have set up with Rusty Toad Archery and State Fair Archery.  We’ll be giving away prizes to the kids, and you’ll have the opportunity to win a Waterloo tool box by supporting State Fair Archery.

So load ‘em up and bring ‘em down to Lucas Oil Speedway and have some fun.
