Kmart may have already won this year's Black Friday Creep sweepstakes.

For years, stores have been opening their stores earlier and earlier to get a leg up on the competition. Now a number of places, including Macy's, will throw open their doors Thanksgiving night at 6 p.m..

However, unless another major retailer beats Kmart to the punch, the discounter says it will let shoppers in at 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

Presumably, these are the people who show up as guests at others homes Thanksgiving since they're likely not doing any cooking or other preparations.

Kmart will also stay open for 42 straight hours, closing just after midnight Friday.

Meanwhile, there are other retailers who believe Black Friday shopping should not start a day earlier, which is no doubt a relief to those who work at  Costco, Barnes & Noble, TJ Maxx and Sams' Club.

GEEZY CREEZY.  Seriously, retail people? Well, now here comes the part where you tell me what you think.  Will it affect how you do your holiday shopping?  Will you go shopping on Thanksgiving?  Do you think this trend is a good or bad thing?  Tell me all about it in our new survey and you'll get some points to win prizes.

Shoppingly yours,
Behka
