Benton County Girl Injured in One-vehicle Accident

A 17-year-old Benton County girl suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident that occurred in Scott County Monday morning at 9:22.

Maycie A. Adams was the driver of a southbound 2000 Chevy Silverado when the vehicle left the roadway on Route N and struck an embankment, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Adams was transported by ambulance to St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
