Betty Jo Clark 81

Betty Jo Clark, 81, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015 at Rest Haven Convalescent Home in Sedalia. She was born on December 18th, 1933 in Blackwater, Missouri, the daughter of Leonard Cornine, Erdus Mae Lindsay, and stepfather George Wheatley, who all preceded her in death.

On July 1, 1948 in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to H. Leon Clark, who preceded her in death on January 16, 1996.

Betty Jo enjoyed new home decorating with her husband, Leon, as he worked on construction of homes. She also loved working on various craft projects and spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by two children, Linda Sawford (Stanley) of Smithton, MO, and Gary Allen Clark (Cindy) of Hughesville, MO; six grandchildren, Bridget, Heath, Aaron, Ryan, Kevin, and Sean; and twenty great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, stepfather, and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Jean Hannah.

A family visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

A memorial graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, Sedalia, immediately following the visitation with Bishop Dutch Boer officiating.
