Body Found After Early Morning House Fire in Maries County
Authorities say a man's body has been found in a burned home in central Missouri.
KMIZ-TV reports that the house fire was extinguished early Sunday morning. Maries County Sheriff Chris Heitman says 80-year-old James Davis, of Camdenton, was found at the home.
Heitman says Davis used the home mostly for storage and didn't live there.
The Missouri State Fire Marshal is investigating the fire.
The cause of death is unknown, but an autopsy is scheduled for Monday. Heitman says it doesn't appear there was any foul play.
