Bolivar Man Killed in Polk County Accident

A 63-year-old man was killed Monday in a one-vehicle accident in Polk Co. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 1998 Chevy Blazer was traveling on 435th Rd. about a mile east of Bolivar when it failed to negotiate a curve, struck a fence, overturned several times and ejected the driver. Josiah W. Stanley was pronounced dead at the scene by the Polk Co. Coroner around 3 p.m.
