Bonnie Sue Sullivan, 70, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Friday, September 7, 2012, at her home.

She was born December 7, 1941, in Wakenda, MO, a daughter of Lawrence and Mary Bates Staton. On July 18, 1986, in Versailles, MO, she married James A. Sullivan, who survives of the home.

Mrs. Sullivan was a member of Broadway Baptist Church. She tenderly cared for many elderly women in her home. She enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, survivors include four children, Sheila Kreiling (Ed), of Jefferson City, MO, Stephen Fletcher, of Moberly, MO, Jana Heineman (Doug), of Centertown, MO, and Elmer Cloe (Kayce), of Sedalia, MO; five step-children, Kenny Sullivan (Gina), of Bedford, IN, Carole Ann Skinner (Brian), of Mitchell, IN, Connie Hettenbach (Jeff), of Grayson, GA, Kevin Sullivan, of Higbee, MO, and Chris Sullivan (Charlie Majors), of Michigan; 26 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Don Staton, of Sedalia, MO, Jack Staton, of Sedalia, MO, and Mike Staton, of Midwest City, OK; and three sisters, Barb Cleveland, of Morris, IL, Carol Davidson, of Norborne, MO, and Cheryl Bell, of Carrollton, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Bryant Fletcher; a brother, Lawrence "Junior" Staton; and a sister, Joan Kappelman.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Broadway Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tim Rehmer officiating.

Casket bearers will be Nick Moriarty, Doug Heineman, Damien Cloe, Ed Kreiling, Devin Harms, Gary Staton, Cody Marriott and Jacob Cloe.

Entombment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Heckart Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Broadway Baptist Church.
