Often when we think of our local libraries, we focus on the young kids.  And that's great, don't get me wrong.  Starting our kids out young to explore everything that reading has to offer is amazing.  But sometimes we forget that the libraries are for the older kids and adults, too! So looking at some of the upcoming stuff that Boonslick Regional Library has coming up, the youngest of the young and the slightly older kids will have a great time, too!
The Friends of the Boonslick Regional Library will be having a Silent Auction starting Monday, Nov. 18 at 9 a.m. and ending Saturday, Nov. 23. There will be a variety of items up for auction, so come bid on your favorite. Make sure that you check back frequently so you are not outbid!

For the teens 12 to 18, there'll be a fun real life game of Clue! The kids will participate as detectives trying to solve the mystery of who killed Mr. Bawdy. They'll turn the Sedalia Branch into Bawdy Manor on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 5 p.m. and the young detectives will be able to question the suspects. There will be people to serve dinner, where everyone gets to guess the murderer, weapon and room! Door prizes will be given.

I got to talk with Greg Burel with Boonslick about these events and more.

To sign up for this event or for more information, contact the Sedalia Branch at 660-827-READ! Check out everything going on at the Boonslick Regional Library today.

Readily yours,

Behka
