Bothwell Regional Health Center continues to increase access to services throughout the region by aggressively recruiting new health-care providers who offer exceptional care to our communities. Bothwell is excited to announce the addition of several physicians along with the relocation of a few. Each has a specialty, and all are committed to exceptional care.

Dr. Rob Miley is reopening Bothwell Physicians Group Family Health in the Bothwell Healing Arts Center. He has practiced family medicine at Bothwell Health Center-Truman Lake for the past two years. Throughout his career, Dr. Miley has focused on rural health care, which makes him a perfect fit for the Bothwell family. He and his family are relocating to Sedalia to establish a firm connection within the community. Dr. Miley earned his medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.

He then completed a rural-tract family medicine residency at Family Practice, University of Missouri – Kansas City Truman Medical Center Lakewood. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Missouri Association of Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Sarah Hasek has joined the team at Bothwell Health Center-Truman Lake in Warsaw. She will practice family medicine and provide care to people of all ages, including infants. Dr. Hasek has been practicing family medicine for 15 years in both the clinic and hospital settings. She is a great fit for Warsaw as she’s spent the last six years providing health care in Knob Noster. Dr. Hasek earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine and completed her residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine – Carbondale. She is also board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

After 40 years in private practice, Dr. Kenneth Azan has joined Bothwell as an employed physician in Bothwell Physicians Group Azan Clinic. He will continue to provide internal medicine services and treat cardiovascular disease from his same office at 1718 South Ingram. He will also continue to follow his patients in the hospital. Dr. Azan received his doctorate of medicine from the University of the West Indies. He completed a residency in internal medicine and fellowship in Non-Invasive and Clinical Cardiology from McMaster University School of Medicine.  He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Rheumatologist Dr. Amr Edrees is seeing patients on Fridays at Bothwell Physicians Group Internal Medicine in the Bothwell Healing Arts Center in west Sedalia. He received his medical degree from Cairo University in Egypt. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Missouri – Kansas City and a fellowship from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Rheumatology.

Dr. Muhammad Imran, a rheumatologist and immunologist, will join the staff later this fall. He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania. He then went on to complete his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Rheumatology.

“We are continually looking for ways to expand access to local health-care services in the communities we serve,” said Chief Executive Officer Jimmy Robertson. “We believe the addition of these physicians will provide our patients with the best care available. Our focus is to persistently recruit new physicians who will provide the same high level of care as our current physicians.”
