Bothwell Regional Health Center recently hired a new vice president of clinic operations.

BRHC says Keith Morrow is joining the team. He has over 15 years of experience through various health care leadership roles.

Most recently, Morrow was the Physician Practice administrator at KDMC Physician Clinics in Brookhaven, MS. His duties including overseeing operations in the areas of primary care, internal medicine, a walk-in clinic, neurology, pediatrics, spine, orthopedics and sports medicine.

One of Morrow’s key responsibilities at KDMC Physician Clinics was to oversee the organization’s participation in an Accountable Care Organization (ACO).

ACOs are groups of doctors, hospitals and other health care providers who come together to give coordinated care to their Medicare patients.

Morrow is a native of Euless, Texas, and received a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Harding University in Searcy, AR. He went on to get a master’s degree in exercise science from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Colorado State University-Global in Denver, CO.

A press release from BRHC says Morrow is looking forward to helping Bothwell strengthen its management structure and processes to ensure patients at the various clinics and at the hospital receive seamless care. “The goal here is to continue to bring high-quality care to our patients,” he said. “How do we become more prevention-minded with our patients? How do we ensure we’re getting them preventative care to prevent that emergency room visit or that inpatient stay?”

Morrow added that Bothwell will continue its efforts to expand the hospital’s medical staff while looking for opportunities to provide more primary care and specialty services.
