Bothwell Regional Health Center Names New CEO

The Bothwell Regional Health Center Board of Trustees named Jimmy Robertson as the organization’s new President and Chief Executive Officer during the board meeting on Tuesday, December 15. The appointment is effective immediately, making Robertson the organization’s 11th CEO in its 85-year history.

“I appreciate the board’s confidence in my ability to lead this organization in becoming the health-care provider of choice in this area,” Robertson said. “We have an excellent team of employees and physicians, and I look forward to working with them to create a very different patient and employee experience here.”

Robertson joined Bothwell as its new chief financial officer on April 1, 2013. Since that time, he has led multiple efforts to strengthen the organization’s financial position, improve operations, and integrate technology.

He is a certified public accountant with 20 years of health-care experience. He most recently served as chief financial officer of Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle in Columbus, Miss.
