Bothwell Regional Health Center is welcoming a new OB/GYN to the staff.

A press release from BRHC says Dr. Paula M. Schwartz is joining the team.

Dr. Schwartz is board-certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Osteopathic Association. She earned her doctor of osteopathic medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biotechnology in Kansas City, Missouri. She completed a residency at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac, Michigan.

Bothwell says after Schwartz completed her training, she worked at Southwest Medical Associates at the Siena and Montecito Healthcare Centers in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dr. Schwartz provides general obstetrics and gynecology services for women in all stages of life. According to the press release, she especially enjoys helping patients navigate through times of transition including teen health, infertility, high-risk pregnancies, new motherhood, and menopause. She is experienced in minimally invasive gynecological procedures from diagnostics to hysterectomies.

Dr. Schwartz now joins Dr. Nayera Guirguis, Dr. David Oberkrom, and Dr. William Smith, in addition to nurse practitioners Deanna Bingham and Fay Evans, at Bothwell OB/GYN Associates, located in the Bothwell Healing Arts Center on W. 10th Street.

Dr. Schwartz also will provide services at the Bothwell Health Center – Truman Lake in Warsaw.
