The Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri raised over $12,000 at the annual Putting "Fore" The Kids Golf Tournament.
The benefit golf tournament took place at Triple Creek Golf Course over the weekend in Cole Camp.
According to a press release from the Boys and Girls Club, 'the annual event featured 19 golf teams competing for prizes and bragging rights, all to benefit the Boys & Girls Club, which served more than 2,000 children last year, seeing an average of 650 each day.'
Executive Director Gary Beckman said, “We’re so thankful to the sponsors, golfers and volunteers who helped make the tournament such a success. Golf tournaments and fundraisers like this are a great way to bring together communities and help shine a spotlight on the important work we’re doing at Boys & Girls Club everyday.”
