Bradley Paul VanSteenburgh, 42

Bradley Paul VanSteenburgh, 42 of Sedalia passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at his home.  He was born on August 13, 1971 in Stillwater, OK a son of Paul and Carol VanSteenburgh, who survive of Hughesville.

Brad was a former firefighter for the City of Sedalia.  He enjoyed playing golf, board and card games. He loved the outdoors where he hunted, trimmed trees, and did construction.

He is survived by three children, Ashley, Bradley and McKenzie Vansteenburgh all of Sedalia; paternal grandparents Guy and Lois Neal of Lawrence, KS; one sister, Marie (Chad) Dennis of Sedalia; two brothers, Shane Vansteenburgh of Jefferson City and Jeff (Deana) Shields of Weatherford, OK; one half-brother, Matthew Neal of Midwest City OK; two grandchildren, Braden and Kendra; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his stepbrother, Jerome Neal.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Pastor Rusty Thomas officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family in care of the funeral chapel.
