Hey there, web reader! I know you don't know my job because I do it and not you, but I work on the air here at our broadcasting company.  But I don't just do that - I also do all of the local community calendar listings.  You know, if your church has a bake sale or something, I'm the one who announces it.  Well, the first part of the year is pretty dry for events like that. I don't know if people are just exhausted after the holidays, or if they're just staying in from the cold or what, but there just isn't as much to do here in Sedalia or out in the area around this time of year.  I noticed, and I bet you did, too.  WELL, YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE.  The folks here at Townsquare noticed, too.  And they decided to do something about it a few years back.  That's exactly what the Cabin Fever Sports Show is all about - getting everybody out and about and ready for the spring and summer.  I got to talk with Derrick Gill, our favorite ginger and resident organizer extraordinaire, about the show and how you can have some fun while helping a great cause.

Here are some of the great products and services you’ll find at this year’s sports show:

  • Hunting, Fishing and Archery Gear
  • Boats and marine accessories
  • Cars, Trucks, SUVs, Motorcycles and ATVs
  • Steel Buildings and Garage Building Information
  • Free Hugs
  • Tips from the Missouri Department of Conservation

  • Energy Efficiency Information
  • Hair Salon and Spa services and Products
  • Taxidermy
  • Realty Listings
  • A General Sense of Well Being and Belonging
  • Outfitting Information

  • Relay for Life Sign-Up Information
