Camdenton Man Killed in Accident on Highway 42 in Maries County

A Camdenton man was killed May 21 after he was ejected from a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria that overturned on Highway 42 in Maries County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 9:40 p.m. The driver, 44-year-old Darryl L. Burke, was flown following the accident to Capitol Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, where he was pronounced dead.

A passenger in the vehicle, 19-year-old Kory A. Burke, was transported by Osage Ambulance to Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla for the treatment of minor injuries.

The Ford Crown Victoria was totaled in the accident and was towed from the scene.
