Carl Drake III, 47

Carl Drake III, 47, of Sedalia, passed away, Thursday, May 2, 2013 at his home. He was born on April 28, 1967, in Wichita, Kan., a son of Carl Drake, Jr., who survives of Sedalia and Lou Ella Click, who survives of Emporia, Kan.

On August 4, 1989 in Stover, Mo., he was united in marriage to Alice Moore, who survives of the home. He enjoyed going fishing, watching wrestling and collecting WWE memorabilia. Besides his parents, he is survived by one sister, Ruth Blackwell and her husband Richard of Sedalia and one brother, Richard Drake and his wife Donna of Wintergreen, FL. He was preceded in death by a sister, Tina Marie Drake. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm, Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Rev. Corbet Martin officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.  Memorial contributions are suggested to The American Cancer Society in care of the funeral chapel.
