Carol Ann (Eads) Schick age 67 of Sedalia died on Friday, September 21, 2012 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.

She was born on August 10, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan daughter of Fred and Mary Monroe Eads. She was married on September 27, 1963 in Beaman, Missouri to William Kenneth (Kenny) Schick, Sr. and he survives of the home.

Carol graduated from Smithton High School and later from State Fair Community College with a degree in computer technology. She worked at Lamy Mfg. Co. for 33 years as a machine operator and then at Ewing Vocational Center for 5 1/2 years. She was currently 2012 President of Ladies of the Warsaw Shrine Club, a lifetime member of the V.F.W. in Sedalia, and an auxillary member of Warsaw American Legion Post 217. She had also been a member of CACTUS (Community And Children Teaming Up for Success).

She enjoyed going to Bingo, feeding the birds and squirrels at the lake, going to rummage sales and shopping. She loved the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and their family meals together. Besides her husband she is survived by one son: William Kenneth (Kenny) Schick, Jr. of Sedalia, two daughters: Carolyn Wulf and her husband George of Sedalia, Melissa Lucinda (Lucy) Dirck and her husband Joe of Sedalia, and three grandchildren: Elizabeth Ann Wulf, Zachary William Wulf and Isabella Lee Ann Wulf all of Sedalia. Other survivors include one sister, Loretta Joyce Proffit and her husband Steve of Sedalia; three brothers: Richard Lee Eads and his wife Theresa of Florence, William (Bill) Burt Eads and his wife Cher of Clifton City, and Thomas Jefferson Eads and his wife Pat of Warsaw.

She was preceded by three brothers: Charles Eads, Jesse Eads and Roy Eads; four sisters: Irene Hockstead, Jeanette Steiner, Madaline Willis, and Mary Margaret Southard.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Harris officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be the Warsaw Shrine Club, Ron Fountain, Wayne Smolin, Frank Arnold, Wayne Smith, Bill Yardley and Ed Curtin. The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Monday, September 24, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Olive Branch Cemetery near Beaman.
