Carroll County Accident Injures Marshall Man

A 24-year-old Marshall resident was taken by EMS to Carroll County Memorial Hospital following a one-vehicle accident at 8:35 p.m. last night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jesse F. Herd was turning his 2005 Buick Lacrosse from eastbound US 24 onto southbound US 65, when he failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the roadway, struck the ground and overturned.

Herd's injuries were described as moderate. The vehicle was totaled in the accident.
