The following cases were heard in the Circuit Court of Pettis County on February 16, 2016. Information provided by the office of the Pettis County Prosecutor, Phillip Sawyer
Bobby Baker, 22, Oak Grove, pled guilty to the felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) and Resisting Arrest.  The charges stem from an October 13, 2015 high speed chase that started within the City of Sedalia and ceased just outside of Warrensburg.  The defendant was sentenced to sentences of 5 years in the Department of Corrections on the Possession and 4 years for the Resisting Arrest.
Davy Rasa, 24, Sedalia, pled guilty to two felony counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), 1 count of Resisting Arrest and 1 misdemeanor counts of Marijuana.  He was sentenced terms of 5 years in the Department of Corrections for each of the felony possessions, 2 years for the Resisting Arrest and 6 months for the misdemeanor.
Cynthia Krieg, 40, Sedalia, was sentenced to 8 years in the Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to Distribution of a Controlled Substance to a minor.
Megan Foster, 25, Clinton, pled guilty to the felony of Stealing.  The defendant was detained while attempting to exit Wal-Mart with approximately $1,000 worth of stolen merchandise.  She was sentenced to 3 years in the Department of Corrections.
Summer Porch, 23, Sedalia, was sentenced to 5 years in the Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to Possession of methamphetamine.
