Sedalia Police went to the 300 Block of East Saline for a report of a disturbance. On September 16, the caller said that a subject known to her drove through her yard and nearly struck her four-year-old daughter. The suspect and the suspect vehicle had left the area prior to Sedalia Police's arrival.

MoDOT Worker Killed Providing Traffic Control on I-70

The Missouri Department of Transportion (MoDOT) announced that a Missouri Department of Transportation Kansas City District Motorist Assist Operator was killed in the line of duty early this morning (September 21).  50-year-old Clifton J. Scott was providing traffic control assistance at an Interstate 70/470 crash site when he was struck by a motorist.
