The Smith-Cotton football Tigers end their regular season at St. Pius Friday night (October 19).  The outcome of this game will determine final seedings in the districts which begin Friday, October 26.  The Tigers need a two touchdown win over St. Pius to help secure a home field advantage to begin the Districts.

Game of the Week: Concordia Orioles vs. Crest Ridge Cougars [INTERVIEW]

As the season winds down, the games become more important for the conference and district standings.  This game will be the most evenly matched game on paper that we have covered this year. Both teams come in at 4-3 overall, both have lost to the same conference opponents, and both average around 30 points per game.

Mango Jack's

Missouri State Fair Commission to Decide Fate of Mango Jack’s

After the completion of the Missouri State Fair, the Missouri State Fair Commission discussed the condition of Mango Jack's Building on the fairgrounds.  The commission claims that the condition of the building warrants it to be torn down.

Mango Jack's owner Gary Everts says he received a note last month stating that he must vacate the building by October 15.  Everts said that he feels that that Mango Jack's has become a key part of the nightlife at the Missouri State Fair and would like to present key points on how to keep and maintain Mango Jack's.

Newstalk 1050 KSIS Presents ‘Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis’

Newstalk 1050 KSIS today is bringing you a new show for the evening and late night listeners. For many years, we have had dedicated listeners for 'Coast to Coast,' whether it be Art Bell or George Noory. We will continue to bring you that program. However the Premiere Network is making a change to the 11pm-midnight portion of the show and a new host will be there as a lead in to Coast To Coast.

Tonight (August 27), Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis will be that lead in from 11 p.m. through midnight.  Starting September 3, Lewis will be on the air from 9 p.m. through midnight Monday through Friday.
