UCM Freedom Scholarship Dinner Tickets On Sale Now [INTERVIEW]

The University of Central Missouri's Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration happens each year in January.  UCM, Whiteman, Sedalia, Kansas City and Warrensburg communities pause to reflect on the work and impact of Dr. King, while renewing goals of respect and dignity toward one another. The speaker this year will be labor economist, author and commentator Julianne Malveaux.  It's planned for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014. The event is the highlight of the university’s annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration.

Boys & Girls Club Announces 2014 Pink Flamingo Award Nominees

State Fair Community College Booster Club Supporting Roadrunner Basketball with Chili Supper [INTERVIEW]

The State Fair Community College Booster Club will hold its annual chili and soup supper from 4:30 -6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11 at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the Sedalia campus.The funds are used to support SFCC’s athletic programs.
