The Sedalia Community Center is having a Blood Drive coming up on December 13. Most of us will need a blood transfusion at some point in our lives. That means that you, your family and your peers will need the support of volunteer blood donors.
At the mention of the phrase "Salvation Army," it's likely you'll immediately imagine a person standing outside a local store with a bell and a bright red bucket. The bell is to get your attention. The bucket is to receive your donation.
Holocaust survivor, Eva Mozes Kor, will bring her message of forgiveness in the face of cruelty and evil to the University of Central Missouri in a free, public presentation at noon Friday, October 28, in Elliott Union 236.
You guys remember the big Fireball Run that came through town a couple of years ago. It was an internet sensation and something that Sedalia absolutely loved -and will never forget. And the best part of it was, we did some good!
