Dr. Harriet Wolfe will be leaving the district and Assistant Superintendent Brad Pollitt will be the new superintendent. The last school board meeting for Wolfe was June 17, and she was surprised with the honor of having the library at the new high school named after her. The Smith-Cotton library is now known as the Dr. Harriet Wolfe Media Center.

Deaton, who became chancellor of MU in 2004 Deaton, praised the "record growth in diversity of our student body" on campus during his announcement.

Something active.  Something where they're learning things and interacting with other kids, and having fun.  So why not sign your kids up for a few of the summer sports out at State Fair Community College?  They've got a lot to choose from, as you can see.
