Bottom's Up is bringing stand-up comedy to Sedalia this weekend as they host the "As Yet Unnamed Comedy Roadshow" this Saturday (June 15) at 8 p.m.  This traveling group of stand-up comics have performed throughout Mid-Missouri and include comics Bill Fisher, Patrick Mahon, Nick Gorges, Justin Luke, Tom Skinner, Louis Doerflinger, Adam Boughton and Rob Harris.

Bothwell Regional Health Center Foundation Recieves Over $19,000 Raised From Lub Dub 5K/10K

The Bothwell Regional Health Center Foundation recently announced final proceeds of $19,762.50 from its Lub Dub 5K/10K Walk Run held on April 27. The funds will be used to purchase an Xper Swing software addition for the hospital's cardiac catheterization lab.

Black Bear Confirmed in Vernon County

Nevada, Mo. – A black bear is wandering in rural Vernon County in west central Missouri. Several residents in the Walker community northeast of Nevada have reported seeing the bear. Conservation Agent Justin Fogle confirmed the sighting by finding bear tracks in a corn field on Wednesday, June 5.

Sedalia STING Unit Finds Evidence of Meth Lab on East 4th Street

Yesterday (June 5) at approximately 4:23 p.m., the Sedalia Police STING Unit was dispatched to the area of 1214 East 4th St. to assist Children Services with an investigation.  According to a report, there was a possible methamphetamine lab in the basement of the residence.

WASHINGTON – Vocci Italian Food Products, a Kansas City, Mo. establishment is recalling approximately 2,025 pounds of lasagna products because of misbranding and an undeclared allergen. The products are formulated with bread crumbs that contain egg, a known allergen, which is not declared on the label.
